Pushing Thirty

and shedding pretentions

My Night Job

I’m a missionary. At a house of prayer. A 24/7 house of prayer. And I do the night-side of the 24/7, when its so late it’s spelled ‘nite.’ In Kansas City Missouri is a company of people who have agreed to by the grace of God give the Lord no rest until he establishes his kingdom in the earth.

Historically, when people gather and cry out night and day, “Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be Done! On Earth, as it is in Heaven!” God breaks in with revival. There are multiple examples of prayer meetings that have been sustained for decades, if not hundreds of years.

I wear several hats: drummer, teacher, Dean, intercessor, supervisor, and once even TV personality (that one was short lived). My wife and I firmly believe that this is the new face of missions to usher in the greatest revival the world has ever seen.
